BACKGROUND

MLA Productions is basically a two-person operation and has been in business since 1986. We handle all the logistics and coordination involved in event and festival production from concept to completion. Subcontractors with whom we have a long-term relationship are often used depending upon the scope and focus of each contract.

Our contracts over the past years have mainly been outdoor art festivals, although we occasionally have produced a few fund-raising events, all-class reunions and various types of promotions.

Our festivals have a reputation for being well-organized and well-attended. All of our exhibitors are kept informed and are treated with respect. We thoroughly enjoy working with people and details; and, events and activities that combine the two. We are also very committed to working closely with the clients in order to produce an event in which they will take great pride.

FESTIVAL GIFT CERTIFICATES

Now a convenient & easy gift for friends and family. $25 Gift Certificates are now available for the Danville Fine Arts Faire, the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts and the Danville Fall Crafts Festival. Place your order and within 24-hours a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

ARTIST INFORMATION

Artists wishing to apply to any show in which the artist component is managed by MLA Productions must be the creator and the producer of the work being sold. We do not consider work that is commercially-made, mass-produced or imported.

Application collateral materials consist of: 4 close-up photos of the work being submitted, 1 photo of the work displayed in a booth situation, 1 photo of the artist at work.

Applications are mailed out toward the end of each year. The deadline for applying is usually about six weeks later. To request a 2014 application, click here: artist application request

FOOD VENDORS

Food vendors (those preparing and cooking on site) must apply by March 1. Food vendors must be able to work out of festival-provided food booths with 10'x10' cooking & storage areas behind the booths.

We do not consider any applicants who must work out of a trailer. Seldom is electrical power available. Vendors must provide their own quiet generators.

Space availability each year is dependent upon participation confirmation of the previous year's food vendors.
